Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Mrs. Ingoll Faye Sumner, age 84, who passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Appling Healthcare. Mrs. Sumner was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County; she was a bus driver for twenty-four years with the Appling County Board of Education and a member of Dunn Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Ingoll Faye loved motorcycles and children.


Mrs. Sumner is preceded by her parents, Thomas and Frankie Gardner Harrelson; and two siblings, Donald Harrelson and Matilda Dean.

Surviving is her husband, Herman Sumner; two children, James Michael Sumner (Aimee) and Gregory Scott Sumner; two grandchildren, Justin Michael Sumner and Joshua Miles Sumner; one great grandchild, Tara Lain Sumner; four siblings, Wendell Harrelson, Weldon Harrelson, Paul Harrelson, and June Bullard also survive.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Dunn Memorial Baptist Church with Reverend Rick Brown and Reverend Doug Weisel officiating.

Interment will follow in the Zoar Cemetery.

A visitation will be held Friday, January 21, 2022, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Nobles Funeral Home Chapel.

Active Pallbearers are Keith Morris, Ron Harrelson, Junior Johnson, Don Harrelson, Randy Harrelson, and Brandon Harrelson.

Honorary Pallbearers are the member of Dunn Memorial Baptist Church.
