Ilene Ahl

Ludowici-Mary Ilene Ahl, 78, passed away Friday, March 01, 2013 at Coastal Manor.

She was a Bacon County native and moved to Ludowici in 1951. She was the owner of Ilene's Beauty Shop in Ludowici for over 30 years where she enjoyed fixing hair and talking with friends. She loved spending time with her family and was a member of First Baptist Church Ludowici.

She was preceded in death by her mother;Mary Loys Gordon Hodges and father;Lonnie Ahl.

Survivors include her sister, Jeanette Ahl Bruce of Ludowici; a niece, Dawn Manning Rowe of Ludowici; a great niece, Meagan Noel Rowe of Ludowici and several close cousins and other family members also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 3, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Ludowici with the Reverend Brian Smith officiating.

Visitation will be held at 2 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the church.

Active Pallbearers will be Steve Cooper, Gene Doyle, Dale Smith, Scott Upole, Olan Passmore and Arte Gordon.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Staff of Coastal Manor.
