Herbert "Teddy" O'Quinn

Miles~Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral services for Herbert T. "Teddy" O'Quinn, age 66, who passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Appling Health Care Systems. He was a lifelong resident of Appling County and a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. He was a former manager at Captain Joe's in Baxley for 26 years, a carpenter and a furniture savior. He was the best husband, daddy, Pa and brother ever.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Thelma Burke O'Quinn.

Survivors include his wife, Melinda Graham O'Quinn of Surrency; three children, Regina O'Quinn of Patterson, Chris O'Quinn and wife Chrystal of Baxley and Clay Delk and wife Alyssa of Surrency; eight grandchildren, Samantha Smith and husband Jacob, Makayla O'Quinn, Coleman O'Quinn, Caleb O'Quinn, Carlee O'Quinn, Caylee O'Quinn, Carson Delk and Chaslynn Stone; five siblings, David O'Quinn and wife Debbie of Surrency, Sandra Padgett and husband Henry of Baxley, Charles O'Quinn and wife Shelia of Surrency, Ronnie O'Quinn and wife Renee of Baxley and Tammy Overstreet and husband Bob of Ooltewah, TN; several nieces, nephews and other family also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 27, 2015 at 11 am at Miles Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend James Carter, Elder Jerry Lightsey and Reverend Darrell Quinn officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral services on Friday at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in the Antioch Congregational Christian Church.

Active pallbearers will be Randy O'Quinn, Reece O'Quinn, Jason Padgett, Al Williams, Jason Tomberlin, Robin Williams, Chris Crummey and Troy O'Quinn.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charles and Vonn Spell, Ruth and Jerry Lightsey and all family and friends in attendance.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the 4th district 1st responders, Appling County EMS and Appling Health Care Systems ER staff.
