Glenda Cheryl Carter

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Ms. Glenda Cheryl Carter, age 78, who passed away Friday, October 27, 2023. Ms. Carter was a native and lifelong resident of Dixie Union, a homemaker, and a member of Rome Primitive Baptist Church.

Ms. Carter is preceded in death by her husband, Junior Bernice Carter; her parents, Tracy and Edna Tuten Bennett.

Surviving is her son, Glen Carter (Mariana Castillo); one grandson, Kole Walker (Chasity); two great grandchildren, Katelyn Walker and Brayden Walker; three siblings, Delane Hooper, Kevis Bennett (Wanda), and Treneth Bennett; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. from the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Rick Brown officiating.

Interment will follow in the Omega Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at Nobles Funeral Home Chapel.

Active Pallbearers are Donnie Rentz, Kev Bennett, Barry Crosby, Kole Walker, Earl Beecher, Tracy Bennett.

Honorary Pallbearers are the maintenance department of Interfor, the staff of Affinis Hospice, and the staff of Waycross Health & Rehab.
