George Griffin

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the memorial service for Mr. George Griffin, age 73, who passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at his home. Mr. Griffin retired from AAA after twenty-seven years of service. He was a loving and dedicated father and grandfather.

Mr. Griffin is preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Holland Dean Turner Griffin; and a grandson, Josh Melton.

Surviving are his three children, Michele Taylor (Ricky), Vicky Melton (Tony), and Chris Griffin; eight grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; his lifelong  best friend Doris Floyd; and a brother John Griffin also survive.

The memorial service will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. from the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend John Griffin officiating.
