Gayle Carver

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the memorial service for Ms. Gayle Diane Wooten Carver, age 76, who passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Jeff Davis Hospital. Ms. Carver was a member of Lumber City Baptist Church.

Ms. Carver is preceded in death by her son, Randy Brewer; a grandson; Jason Carter; father and stepmother, John Edward and Lois Mims Wooten, mother, Meryle Josephine McBride; and two siblings, Glynn Wooten, and Wanda McDaniel.

Surviving are her three children, Paul Brewer of Hazlehurst, Anita Carter (Wuan Gruber) of Baxley, and Marie Meeks (Phil Carter) of Baxley; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; six siblings, Stanley Wooten (Linda) of Fairplay, SC, Tommy McBride of Waycross, Larry McBride of Ambrose, Johnny Burkett (Janet) of Lumber City, Carol Thompson of Hazlehurst, and Linda Monti (Oscar) of Hazlehurst also survive.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. from the Lumber City Baptist Church with Reverend Terry Brown, Reverend Wayne Duvall and Zachary Meeks officiating.
