Freddie Gurley

Miles~Nobles Funeral Home announces the death of Freddie Ardine Gurley, 56, who passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 at Southeast Georgia Health Systems in Brunswick. He was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County and a retired woodworker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ardine and Ann Davis Gurley.

Survivors include two sisters, Debbie Ann Spires and husband Herman and Patricia Lynn and husband Henry; one brother, Larry Gurley; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 11am at Satilla Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Herman Spires officiating.

Interment will follow.

Funeral Procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30am on Thursday.

Active pallbearers will be Buddy Kersey, Dakota Gribble, Robert Gurley, Howard Gurley, Gary Ryles and Randy Griffin.

Honorary pallbearers will be all friends of the family and the staff of Davita Dialysis.
