Fletcher E. Johnson Jr.

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Mr. Fletcher E. Johnson Jr, age 51, who passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Wayne Memorial in Jesup.  Mr. Johnson was a native of Rome, Ga living the past twenty- three years in Hinesville. He was a retired Combat Engineer with the United States Army.  Mr. Johnson was a former 3^rd grade teacher at Smiley Elementary School, currently a 3^rd grade teacher at McClelland Elementary School in Ludowici, and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Hinesville.

Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by his parents, Fletcher E. Sr, and Alice Marie Chubbs Johnson, and a son, Aaron Johnson.

Surviving is his wife, Veronica Espinoza Johnson; a son, Zach Johnson (Katie); one granddaughter, Viviana Johnson; one brother; and six sisters also survive.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at 3:00 P.M. at the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Mills officiating and military honors rendered by the United Sates Army Honor Guard.

The service will be live streamed Sunday at 3:00 P.M. from the Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory Facebook page.

Interment will follow in the Georgia Veterans Cemetery in Glennville.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday, January 30, 2022.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Saint Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org.
