Ernest Gene Hall

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Mr. Ernest Gene Hall, age 80, who passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at Appling Healthcare. Mr. Hall was a native of Appling County. He was a retired truck driver, a retired member of the Georgia National Guard, and a United States Marine Corp Veteran.

Mr. Hall is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Warren, and Maggie Smiley Hall.

Surviving is his son, Gregory Hall (Tammy) of Dallas, GA ; a granddaughter, Ashleigh Hall of Bradenton, FL; and four siblings, Nathan Hall (Jeanine) of Ocala, FL, Jerry Hall (Kim) of Baxley, Wilbur Hall of Pedro, FL, and Susie Thornton (Robert) of Bristol; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held Friday, May 26, 2023, at 12:00 P.M. from the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Rick Brown officiating.

Interment will follow in the Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at Nobles Funeral Home Chapel.

Active Pallbearers are Brad Carter, Jeremy Thornton, Carols Rooks, Cory Olliff, Dale Carter, and Dwayne Dawson.

Honorary Pallbearers are Jessie Alderman, Mickey Morris and Robert Thornton.
