Ernest Beckworth

Miles~Nobles Funeral Home announces the death and funeral services of Mr. Ernest Beckworth, age 91,who passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the Pavilion. Mr. Beckworth was a native of Appling County living 42 years in Jacksonville before returning to Baxley in 1990. He was a retired truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Bessie Foskey and Merle Medders and a brother, Clyde Beckworth.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Beasley Beckworth of Baxley; two sons, Randy D. Beckworth of Jacksonville and Swin G. Beckworth and wife Michelle of Baxley; one granddaughter, Amanda E. Beckworth; two great granddaughters, Madison Morris and Keeley Beckworth; two special nieces, Marolyn Mincey and Selene Gardner; one special nephew,Reverend Mark Beckworth.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 4pm from the Miles~ Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Mark Beckworth officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral services on Saturday.

Interment will follow in the Beckworth-Swinson Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Gary Yawn, Clifton Mincey, Kevin Gardner and Eric Mincey.
