Miles~Nobles announces the death of Eloise Steedley Hunter, 84, who passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013. She was a native of Appling County. She retired as a LPN at Appling General Hospital; was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Mamie Steedley; a daughter, Bobbie Sanders and a sister, Blanche Bennett.

Survivors include a daughter, Valeria Sellers-Chamber and husband Michael of Glenwood; a son Vance Hunter of Baxley; a brother, Lloyd Steedley of Baxley; three grandchildren, Lisa Jowers and husband Ronnie of Graham, Michelle Sellers of Sylvania and Kim Gallant and husband Eric of Sugar Hill; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 21, 2013 from7-9pm at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 22, 2013 at 2pm at Miles~Nobles Chapel with the Reverend Carlton Rowell officiating.

Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Eric Gallant, Ronnie Jowers, Steve Steedley and Eddie Rodriquez.

Honorary pallbearers will be The Pavilion Nurses and Staff.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Georgia Baptist Children's Home at www.gbchfm.org.

The family will be gathering Thursday afternoon at the residence of Lloyd Steedley, Jr. at 561 Buckhorn Road, Baxley.
