Miles - Nobles Funeral Home announces the funeral services of Mr. Elmer "Mo" Youngblood, age 59, who passed away Friday, December 6, 2013. He was a native of Emanuel County living most of his life in Appling County; a United States Navy Veteran, millwright and a member of the Gold Star Family.


He was preceded in death by his son, Travis Youngblood; brother, Randall Youngblood and his parents, Hollis and Margie Stroud Youngblood.


Surviving is one son, E.J. Youngblood of Smithfield, VA; daughter-in-law, Laura Youngblood of Sebastian, FL; grandchildren, Hunter, Emma and Christian Youngblood; three sisters, Dorothy and husband Carroll Hart of Surrency, Pearlie Baxley of Baxley and Josephine Youngblood of Surrrency; two brothers, Ricky Youngblood of TN and Sammy Youngblood of Baxley; several nieces and nephews also survive.


Visitation will be Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.


Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from the Miles - Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Dennis Bryant officiating.


Interment will follow in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery with military honors.
