Miles~Nobles Funeral Home announces the death of Doris Googe Ingram, 79, who passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Appling Healthcare Systems. She was a native of Jeff Davis County living most of her life in Appling County. She retired from Appling General Nursing Home as an LPN; a member of Calvary Baptist Church and volunteered at "The Mission Store".

Preceding her in death are her parents, Herman Googe and Louella Lewis Googe; one sister, Judy Hand and two infant brothers.

Survivors include three children, Debbie Bass and husband Ronnie of Hazlehurst, Larry Hayes and wife Sharon of Hazlehurst and Rhonda Denison and husband David of Jesup; two special daughters, Denise Hayes of Waycross and Kim Williams of Baxley; eight grandchildren, Jody Bass, Ronwin Bass, Glynn Hayes, Bryan Hayes, Jordy Roland, Clint Denison, Cassie Denison and Desiree Denison; sixteen great grandchildren; a special friend, Louisa Bush of Baxley; one sister, Iris Shadrick and husband Jeff of Jekyll Island; many special friends, nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 2pm at Calvary Baptist Church with the Reverend Roger LaRoche officiating.

She will lie in-state one hour prior to funeral services.

Interment will follow in the Oakland Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of Calvary Baptist Church and Steve Copeland.
