Debra Lee Pearce

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Miss Debra Lee Pearce, age 58, who passed away Monday, August 30, 2021, at Appling Healthcare System.

Debra (Debbie) Lee Pearce was born on December 16, 1962, to the late Manning and Dollie Pearce. She was the youngest of five children. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Pearce, and Dwight Pearce. There are two surviving sisters, Gail Rushing of Surrency, and Glenda Wykle of Lumber City. Debbie is also survived by Legal Guardians, Lisa, and Glynn Pearce who Debbie lovingly called Best Friend and Buddy. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family also survive.

She has resided at the Appling Pavilion for the past six years where she was loved and cared for. Debbie attended Friendship Baptist Church where she loved to pray. She was loved by the members and her Pastor Kevin and Carol Johnson.

Debbie was a kind and happy soul. She was always smiling and loved Jesus. She has many friends at the Pavilion, one very special friend, Prissy Rentz, whom she loved dearly. Debbie never met a stranger. Her happiest moments were playing “hoop ball” and rambling to the Dollar Tree to shop. The holidays were special for her as she was a firm believer that you must go to bed for Santa to come! She never stopped believing! She enjoyed the annual beach trip. Debbie loved children and her dog Buster. She enjoyed rocking on the porch listening to her music. Her favorite was “Cole Miners Daughter” and she loved to sing it and entertain her Buddy and Best Friend. She left this earthly home with grace and a smile as she knew she was surrounded by angels and heaven bound to sign for Jesus.

A family graveside service will be held Sunday, September 5, 2021, at 6 P.M. from the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Kevin Johnson officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that contributions be made to Bethel Cemetery Fund at 644 Bethel Church Rd. Surrency, Ga 31563.
