Graham- Mrs. Coline Lord Lynn, age 84, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Appling Healthcare after a sudden illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County, a resident of The Pavilion for the past eleven months, a retired Ship and Shore seamstress and a member of the Graham Church of God.
Mrs. Coline loved to cook and sew.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Tom "Jr" Lord and Jarmin Lynn; parents, Reverend Linton and Mabel Sapp; sister, Kathryn Howard and four brothers, Vernon, Irwin, Staten and Sonnie Sapp.
Survivors include two sons, Glenn and wife Sharon Lord and Allen Lord both of Graham; one daughter, Debbie and husband Darrell Carter of Baxley; three grandchildren, Amanda Zachary, Angel White and Kevin Peace; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Ray W. Sapp of Baxley; two sisters, Carolyn Sellers of Baxley and Clovis Johnson of Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Lord Cemetery in Graham with the Reverend Wayne Herrington officiating.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2012 from 9:00 - 10:30 am at the chapel of David E. Miles Funeral Home. A processional to the cemetery will be leaving the funeral home at 10:30 am Tuesday morning.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the members of the Graham Church of God.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Graham Church of God, 71 Graham-Zoar Rd., Baxley GA 31513.
