Charles Edward O'Berry

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Mr. Charles Edward O’Berry, age 66, who passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross. Mr. O’Berry was a native of Appling County, loved fishing, going to church, reading his bible, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  He was a former employee for Walmart Distribution in Douglas, and you could always catch him telling a joke.

Mr. O’Berry is preceded in death by his parents, Ben T. and Mottie Heath O’Berry and a sister, Charlene Morgan.

Surviving are four children, Hunter O’Berry of Baxley, Thomas O’Berry of Arizona, Clifton O’Berry of Nevada, and Carrie O’Berry of South Dakota; and two brothers, Tommy O’Berry (Sylvia) of South Carolina and Willis O’Berry (Eleanor) of Baxley also survive.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Nobles Funeral Home Chapel.

The graveside service will follow in the Friendship Church Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Earl Wiggins officiating.

Active Pallbearers are Bryson McLoon, Ron McLoon, Clint Gray, Taff Vaughn, Andrew Lewis, and Hunter O’Berry.

Honorary Pallbearers are the members of Harvest Temple Church of God.
