Cecil L Callaway

Miles~Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the passing of Cecil L Callaway, age 65, who passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Appling Health Care Systems. He was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County and a United States Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was a retired chemical engineer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ethyl Callaway; a son, Shane Callaway and a brother Ted Callaway.

Survivors include four children, Terrie Callaway, Cecilia Harper and husband Troy, Craig Callaway and Shannon Callaway; three brothers, George Callaway, Jimmy Callaway and Marvin Callaway; a sister, Patsy Callaway; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
