Carolyn Roberson

Miles~Nobles Funeral Home announces the death of Carolyn Reynolds Roberson, 57, who passed away November 3, 2013 at her daughters residence in Richmond Hill after an extended illness. She was a native of Appling County, a seamstress and a member of Friendship Congregational Christian Church. She was a wonderful cook and a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.B. Roberson; parents, J.L. and Juanita Reynolds; brother, Edward Reynolds; sister, Betty Reynolds; daughter in-law, Rhonda Holton Greer and son in-law, Stacy Herrington.

Surviving is her two sons, Jonathan "Andy" Greer and wife Kelli of Hinesville and Rodney Greer and wife Leeann of Clarksville, TN; a daughter, Brandi Johnson and husband David of Richmond Hill; 12 grandchildren, Kyler Greer of Midway, Dallas Powell of Midway, Haley Greer of Clarksville, TN, Jayden Greer of Clarksville, TN, Ashley Woods of Clarksville, TN, Layton Woods of Clarksville, TN, Jake Grossenbach of Hinesville, Andon Greer of Hinesville, Sydney Herrington of Richmond Hill, Seth Herrington of Richmond Hill, Trevor Herrington of Richmond Hill and Nathan Johnson of Richmond Hill; one sister, Shirley Davis and husband James of Alma; four brothers, Lee Reynolds and wife Belinda of Baxley, Charlie Reynolds and wife Roxy of Newnan, GA, Donald Reynolds and wife Ceicil of Stockbridge, GA and Jimmy Reynolds of Alma; several nieces, nephews and other family also survive.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2013 from 6-9pm at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 2pm at Friendship Congregational Christian Church with the Reverend Barry Teutsch officiating.

Interment will follow at Friendship Congregational Christian Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Jon Reynolds, Dan Reynolds, Buddy Reynolds, Thomas Hardwick, Bobo Davis, Josh Davis, Wayne Waters and Stacy Davis.
