Carol Turner

Carol Coleman Turner, age 53, passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 at Candler Hospital in Savannah. She was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County; a former nurse's aide at Lakeview Retirement Center and a member of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Coleman and her husband James Turner.

She is survived by her mother, Alice C. Oliver and husband Roy of Baxley; one daughter, Jennifer Holcomb and husband Kevin of Florence, AZ; one son, Michael Morris and wife Amanda of Surrency; five grandchildren, Amanda Jane Norris, Nikki Geary, Chyenne Geary, Kathrin Lynn Holcomb and Susan Carol Holcomb; one brother, Jerry Lee Coleman of Surrency; one nephew, Jerry Lee Gibson of Baxley, and special friend, Wyman Morris of Baxley.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 4 p.m. from the Miles - Nobles Funeral Home chapel with the Reverend Virgil Carter officiating.
