Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Mr. Brian Keith Johnson, age 45, who passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021, at St. Vincent Riverside in Jacksonville, FL. He was a native of Appling County and a graduate of Appling County High School Class of 1994. Mr. Johnson served on the Graham Fire Department and the Appling County Rescue 1st Responders and was employed by the City of Waycross Public Works.


He is preceded in death by his parents, James Howard Sr. and Rachel Johnson; and his sister, Kathy Killi.

Surviving is his wife, Mandy Johnson of Waycross; three children, Dane Johnson, Aaron “Sydney” Johnson, and Brian Keith Johnson Jr. all of Waycross; one brother, James Howard Johnson Jr. (Dana) of Brunswick; two nephews, David Wayne Hivley of Texas, Benjamin Aaron Hivley of Baxley; one niece, Makayla Vera Pfau of Baxley; four sisters in law, Christina Stowe, Tricia (Rocky) Peeples both of Baxley, Debbie (Leon) Gilbert of Lake City FL, Linda (Charles) Sweat of Starke, FL; one brother in law, J.R. Stowe(Rhonda Johnson) of Baxley; mother and father in law, Betty and Eddie James of Baxley; and a father figure, Danny Giddens of Baxley also survive.

The funeral service will be held Friday, September 17, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Nobles Funeral Home with Reverend Rick Brown and Chris O’Quinn officiating.

Internment will follow in the Red Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers are James Johnson, Danny Giddens, David Wayne Hivley, J.R. Stowe, Eddie James, and Tim Lowe.

Honorary Pallbearers are Appling County Rescue 1st Responders and Graham Fire Department.
