Billy Carter

Miles~Nobles Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Billy E. Carter who passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Appling Healthcare Systems after a brief Illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County, a truck driver, an avid fisherman and a loving father who loved to spend time with his family.


Surviving is his two sons, Kenny E. And wife Wendy Carter of Baxley and Justin and wife Jackie Carter of Baxley; six grandchildren, Leah Carter, Kacy Carter, Blake Terry, Blayne Carter, Jacob Waylon and Bella Carter; brothers and sisters, Pee Wee Carter, Ethel Beckworth, Edward Carter, Ellis Carter, Elaine Dollor and Lucy Beckworth; several nieces and nephews and other family also survive.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Miles-Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Jerry Rogers officiating and eulogy by Joey Hires.


Interment will follow in the Midway Cemetery.
