Betty Shipes

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the death of Ms. Betty Shipes who passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Community Hospice in Vidalia.

Ms. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Ovette Buckens Clance; and one daughter, Michelle Jackson.

Surviving are her two sons, Kevin Shipes (Dana) and Curtis Shipes (Christi); 9 grandchildren, Kaleb Shipes, Kayla Palmer, Layla Shipes, Ethan Shipes, Jennifer Shipes, Shelby Shipes, Dylan Shipes, Theodore Shipes, and Lindsey Shipes; and one brother, Roger Clance also survive.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 3 P.M. from Midway Baptist Church with Reverend Benji McReady officiating.
