Betty Hutcheson Carter

Miles~Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral services for Betty Hutcheson Carter, age 87, who passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Heritage House Hospice in Marietta, GA. She was a lifelong resident of Appling County and a retired caretaker.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jerry Dean Simmons; mother, Lillie Bell Lawrence and father, Raymond Lawrence.

Survivors include her daughter, Martha Miles of Baxley; five grandchildren, Chad Knight, Janett Dykes, Andy Johnson, Shari Smith and Tammy Youmans; eight great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 2pm at Miles Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with the Elder Jerry Lightsey and Reverend Lamar Lee officiating.

Interment will follow in Omega Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 23, 2015 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Active pallbearers will be Andy Johnson, Matthew Smith, Stephen Smith, Clayton Smith, Jeremy Wiggins and Gary Dykes.
