Miles – Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the services for Alva Grace Kicklighter Allen, age 86, who passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 at her residence under the care of Comfort Care Hospice.  She was a native of Tattnall County residing most of her life in Appling County; a retired business owner and attended Ferry Road Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Allen; two sons, Gary Allen and Steve Allen and two daughters; Anthanette Allen and Gracie Ann Allen.

Surviving is her daughter, Cindy A. Reynolds-List of Rutherfordton, NC; two sons, Phil Allen and Mark Allen of Baxley; sisters, Juanita K. Moody of Glennville and Theda K. Ward of Jopa, MD; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; a special daughter, Teresa Blanton Dees of Baxley and other family also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 2 p.m. from the Miles – Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends David Herndon and Earnest Dyal officiating.

Interment will follow in the Appling Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Wednesday.

Active Pallbearers will be Chad Allen, Phillip Allen, Chris Allen, Cameron Allen, Josh Reynolds and John Reynolds.

Honorary Pallbearers will be all friends and family and the staff of Comfort Care Hospice.
