Aletha Tootle Spell

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the services for Aletha “Coot” Tootle Spell, age 74, who passed away Friday, August 18, 2017 at Hazlehurst Court.  She was lifelong resident of Appling County.  She was a member of Big Oaks Church of God and a retired home healthcare provider.  

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Vada Tootle; son, Don Carter; two brothers, Jerome Tootle and Roy Tootle.

 

Survivors include son, Eric D. Carter of Baxley; two grandchildren, Drew Carter and Austin Carter both of Baxley; two sisters, Deleta Hopkins and husband James and Joann McDonald and husband Jimmy all of Baxley; several nieces, nephews and other family.

 

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 21, 2017 at 11am at Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Carlton Rowell officiating.

 

Interment will follow in the Surrency City Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

 

Active Pallbearers will be Jordan Taylor, Jason Finley, Jeff Tootle, Kody Nail, Robin Hopkins, Brandon McDonald and Henry Jones.
