Judy Harris

Mrs. Judy Harris passed away peacefully on July 25, surrounded by the love of her family at the Appling County Pavilion. Judy was one of the sweetest, kindest souls anyone could ever know. She had a heart devoted to caring for others and spent her life putting the needs of her family before her own. She was a loving wife who faithfully cared for her husband, Corbitt, each day, a devoted mother, and a proud grandmother and great-grandmother. Known affectionately as “Meme,” she found the greatest joy in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them. She held a special place in her heart for each one Especially Rylee, who made her a great-grandmother for the very first time, a role she embraced with so much love and pride. From the day Rylee was born, Judy treasured every milestone and loved watching her grow into the beautiful young lady she became. She was incredibly proud of her and cherished the special bond they shared, always celebrating her accomplishments and keeping her close to her heart. One of the sweetest bonds she shared was with Isaac. Although his busy schedule with baseball and football meant he didn’t get to spend as much time with her as either of them would have liked, he was never far from her thoughts. If anyone asked about him, her response was almost always, “That’s my little Corbitt.” She was incredibly proud of him. She also loved sharing her birthday with Isaac, and that special connection always brought her so much joy. She also cherished being the great-grandmother of twins, Allison and Addison. As a twin herself, she always hoped there would be another set of twins in the family, and she found so much joy in seeing that wish come true. Watching their special bond grow brought a smile to her face and held a very special place in her heart. Judy also shared a beautiful and unbreakable bond with her own twin sister, June. Their special connection was one she cherished deeply throughout her life. She is survived by her three children, Betsy Beckworth, Richard Harris, and Randy Harris; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews also survive. The family will gather for a private service at a later date. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace. Her kindness, gentle spirit, unwavering love, and selfless heart will live on in the countless lives she touched. Our precious Meme will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family will never be forgotten. While we will miss her more than words can express, we are thankful for the love, memories, and examples she leaves behind. Nobles Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Judy Harris.
