Georgia Mae Creamer

Georgia Mae Creamer, age 82, a beloved mother passed away peacefully on March 1, 2025, at the Pavilion surrounded by her children after an extended illness. She was born September 23, 1942, to the late J.F. and Vega Thompkins in Baxley, GA. Georgia Mae’s unwavering faith guided her life and her approach to motherhood. As a mother of two, grandmother of five and great-grandmother of three, Georgia Mae did her best to instill her strong values and religious beliefs in her family. Georgia Mae loved spending time with her family, and her home was a haven of prayer and support for not only her children but for others in need of guidance and comfort. Georgia Mae was a God-fearing woman who deeply respected and adhered to the teaching of God’s word. She was dedicated to her church and committed to her faith in the Lord and was a life-long member of Big Oaks Church of God. She had a life well lived, cherished by all who knew her and a beloved soul who touched many lives. She will live forever in our hearts and will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace! Preceding her in death are her parents. J.F. and Vega Thompkins, sister, Irene Wiggins of Charleston, SC and brother, Belton Thompkins of Baxley. Surviving are her children, Darin and wife Melissa Creamer, and Darrell and wife Becky Creamer both of Baxley, grandchildren, Ryan and wife Shelby Creamer, Cheyenne Creamer, Blake Creamer, Kyle Creamer, and Mindy Blanton, all of Baxley, great-grandchildren, Kamie Vaughn, Tatum Creamer, and Brooklyn Johnson, all of Baxley, brother, Homer Thompkins of Hinesville, sisters, Louise Miller of Baxley, Bertha Buch of Cuero, TX, Mildred Moore of Hinesville, and a host of other family members, nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 7, 2025, at 2 P.M. from the Big Oaks Church of God with Reverend Mark Grimes and Sister Virginia Herrington officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Community Church Cemetery in Hazlehurst. Visitation will be held Thursday evening, March 6, 2025, from 6 until 8 P.M. at the chapel of Nobles Funeral Home. Active Pallbearers are Stanley Miller, Gene Thompkins, Jason Thompkins, Ronnie Wiggins, Devon Causey, and Colin Causey. Honorary Pallbearers are the members of Big Oaks Church of God, and the staff of the Pavilion. Nobles Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Georgia Mae Creamer.
